I got a piggy fairly early on my second round of tokens. After that I made a killing farming and selling tokens friday and saturday. All total ended up with about 12 piggys. I got lucky in that every finale I was in had the ingredients and managed to pick up extra pigs from afkers in town with full inventories (silly them).

I traded a couple for other minipets I didn't have, gave a couple to some guildies who didn't get them and sold a few others. Still have about half a dozen. I'll probably hang onto them and see if the price goes back up down the road, but I kind of doubt they'll ever be worth much.

I went through about 250 fortunes with no pig, but by that point I'd made about 15k off selling sugary drinks so I just bought one.

I opened around 500 and only got 1 pig about 40 or so from the last one I opened.

About half of those I zoned after getting bad fortune, as I read that may affect the pig chances.

I ended up with 5 of them though due to the main event.

1 of them I brought every ingredient myself.

Note: I was present at every coming of the pig and jumped to a later server anytime I could.

I had to open 350 fortunes before I got a pig, but I got my first pig because I did a lot of shopping to get all the chef's ingredients. By the end of the festival I had 5 little piggies. Hurray!
